Many changes have been seen in the kitchen.

Labour saving devices are not something new. During the 1930's some well off families owned fridgerators. They were powered by gas, electricity or paraffin.
Other equipment was bread slicing machines which doubled as a bacon slicer, low pressure steamers and cookers, mincing machines, vegetable strainers.

Freezers and Microwaves changed the way we eat.
